This music pulls me in like a vacuum cleaner: chords crackle, creak and howl, clouds of sound vibrate eerily, and in the midst of it all, the finest nuances reveal themselves. The ensemble BONECRUSHER — founded in 2020 by Cologne-based trombonist and composer Matthias Muche - showcases its latest developments in four compositions. The musicians create their own sound universes, illuminate them with selt-developed sounds and devote themselves to the possibilities of the trombone with an obsession for detail. – Sophie Emilie Beha
