If this process and this material can behave in this way under these circumstances, how will they behave in different conditions? If this track is called ‘Downwards’, what will happen if its tonal trajectory and harmonic form are reversed in a track called ‘Upwards’? If there is a ‘Los, Lassend (vivace)’, then how will its material be altered by a different speed and figuration in ‘Los, Lassend (adagio)’. – Christopher Fox
